Auxiliary power system control is based upon knowing the state of the battery to carry out tasks. The battery sensing system continuously monitors the battery voltage and provides signals at set levels to automatically disconnect loads or warn the driver to connect a charging source, reduce loads or switch on the engine!

 LIGHT DUTY BATTERY CHARGER 

Antares supply a range of low cost battery chargers suitable for giving continuous support of all small batteries.
The battery chargers can also be used as a power source. Additional appliances can be connected without disrupting automatic charging. The charger is a fully featured boost/float unit, it is internally adjustable to suit the voltage requirements of the installation.

Temperature compensation maintains correct float voltage at all temperatures and terminates boost charging (constant current) when charging is complete. Heat sensor located externally.

Short circuit protection makes it impossible to overload unit

Over temperature protection on reduces the charge current when overheating is detected so temperature drops to acceptable levels.

 DC POWER CONVERTER 

This rugged unit is designed to offer a fully regulated 40 amp output controlled at a fully regulated 13.8V float voltage. It is used as a power supply and in applications with a continuous loading without a battery connected.

 SPRINT INVERTER 

The "Sprint" concept in inverters is designed to give maximum AC power from a vehicle or marine DC system, at as low a cost as possible. These inverters are based on the well proven Antares compact power inverter range used in critical professional environments.
The unit will sprint up to 1600W for short periods allowing intermittent loads such as power tools, microwaves and kettles to operate whilst still retaining a base load capability to operate lights, TVs, computers and air-conditioning.
